From trying to find the right instrument to suit you (and your pocket!) , to having a precious instrument fixed, we’ve been there ourselves, and that helps us give you better service and advice. We are one of few companies to specialise in major overhauls and complete restorations. We are able to restore your instrument in silver plate, and we have our own lacquer department.

Andrew Leech – Director, Repair Technician

Andrew has a great reputation as both a repairer of all things brass and woodwind, as well as a player – he has won national titles on euphonium and trombone, and has experience as a conductor of brass and concert bands. He has over 20 years experience in brass and woodwind repairs.  He is a fine technician with a passion for the job, and a great eye for detail – you can be assured that any job will be handled as though he was working on his own instrument!

Bronwynne Leech – Director, Admin

Bronwynne has a keen love of music and a vast knowledge of the field.  Originally from the UK, which is the home of brass banding, this is maybe not surprising.  She currently plays euphonium in North Shore Brass and the RNZAF Base Auckland Band.  Bronwynne specialises in sales and rentals, and looks after all the accounts, as well as maintaining the on-line orders.

Karen Middleton – Sales/School Specialist

Karen is the ideal choice for school specialist, with a background of playing and teaching.  She is an accomplished flautist, and before moving to NZ from South Africa in 2008, she taught classroom music as well as flute, piano and music theory.  Who better to come and visit your school or music centre with musical supplies – from reeds and valve oil to instruments and sheet music – give her a call to discuss how we can help make your music department work smoother! (she’s also happy to collect and return repairs)
